ToA and DKE

Ok my game design time has been very lacking since, well I started programing, but... I have been taking my time and I am working on the engine fiercely of late. I am working on making a bunch of sprites and characters for my game(which is taking forever since I am drawing them with a mouse and not a pen and pad) but I am hoping to have a release for my game soon. I have the site up, my friend and I are working on finishing up some features before we carry on any further with production so that the game is more appealing.

How have you been though man? talked to C.J. or Celeste lately, get to work on any sites? I have been working on my site but I am annoyed with it, I can not get it to work correctly. And I have alot of things programed into my engine lately, you know it is a pain in the ass to program a bank system or a instant message system. Those are taking me the longest F'ing time... it has really made me begin to hate programing.

hahaha. yeah, anything multi-user based will have those effects at times. And any branching system is a metric ton of crap to work out.

But yeah, Celeste hasn't been all that talkative lately, but I talk to CJ daily.

As for work. I've done some work on a few coop sites, I did some flash work for 2advanced.com and have been working with a few people from that studio. Nothing major though. Other than that I design tattoos for people. All freelance stuff, just to keep me busy.

You know how it goes, lol.

Yeah, I wish I could find my way in like that, and it's awesome that your keeping busy with something you went to school for.

If you want I might have ToA up in the next month or 2, the game is becoming feature filled, other then it being 2d you might really like the way it is turning out.

So how is C.J doing? How is his job going? Has he started
college or not? Are you going back to school again? Catch me up on everything. And the tattoo looks bad ass man.

Yeah, CJ's doing fine. Nona broke up with him, but he's taking it ok. He's working at Wallgreens, in the photo department. I guess he likes it, lol. He never complains about it. And yeah, I'm going back to college. I'm getting another AA, but in traditional art, and I'm double majoring to get my BA in Graphic Design. Busy busy busy, lol.

As for your game, I'd love to help out. I'll do any illustration you need, and I'm working hard on my prose at the moment too. We need to get together, then we can get all that sorted out.

That's sad to hear that they broke up after so long, I saw her the other day and she did not mention it. And that is awesome that you are persuing another degree, I might be trying to go LSCC for my AS, and double majoring for something revolving around a AA.

I will have to come over some time soon, I'll bring you VB, C++ one of the books I was going to work out of and the source code to DKE.
